Responsible gambling at Betride
Controls work best when they are set before play begins, because a limit chosen in advance does not depend on how a session is going. At Betride we ask each player to make four decisions before the first deposit: how much money, how much time, which route for withdrawals and when to stop. The controls that support those decisions follow.
Four decisions before the first deposit
- Decide a sum for the month that you can lose without affecting rent, bills or savings, and keep every deposit within it.
- Decide the length of a session and leave the site when it ends.
- Decide whether you will withdraw winnings or play them again. Withdrawals are paid in cryptocurrency, so decide in advance whether you hold a wallet at all.
- Decide a stop point for losses and a stop point for wins.
Write the four decisions down. A written plan is easier to keep than a plan held in memory, and it can be shown to a friend or a family member who agrees to ask about it.
Controls and where they sit
| Control | What it does | How to use it |
|---|---|---|
| Self-exclusion | Closes access to the account for a chosen period | Ask live chat or write to [email protected] |
| Other limits and breaks | Our support team explains which controls the account offers | Ask live chat, open 24 hours a day |
| Minimum deposit of £10 | Keeps the first payment small | Choose the smallest amount |
| Offer stake ceiling | Limits the stake per spin during a bonus | Read the offer card |
| Bank gambling block | Stops card payments to gambling merchants | Set it in your banking app |
A session in three stages
| Stage | Action | Reason |
|---|---|---|
| Before | Check the plan, the sum and the end time | The decision is taken calmly |
| During | Watch the clock and the balance after each round | The plan stays visible |
| After | Record the result and leave the site | The session ends by choice |
If you decide to stop
- Tell our support team in live chat that you want a break or self-exclusion.
- Remove saved payment details from the browser and from the wallet app.
- Ask your bank to block gambling transactions.
- Delete the bookmark and the shortcut to the site on your phone.
- Tell one person you trust.
The offer and the limit
A bonus changes the arithmetic of a session. The crypto welcome offer requires wagering of 45 times the deposit plus the bonus. On a £30 deposit the bonus is £51 and the required turnover is £3,645. A player who has set a monthly sum should consider whether that turnover fits it. An offer can be declined by depositing without a code, and a player who feels pressed by the turnover should do so.
The same care applies to free spins. Code BR200 and code WD100 have one-hour windows, and a short window pushes a player to decide quickly. A decision made in a hurry is not a plan. If the window closes, the offer is lost and nothing else is lost.
Devices and bank-side blocks
Cards and Skrill are deposit-only at our cashier, so money that is removed from a card can come back only as cryptocurrency. A player who has no wallet has one more step to take before cashing out, and some players choose this barrier deliberately. A bank can also block card payments to gambling businesses, and a device can be set to block gambling sites. These barriers act whether or not the casino is open.
Signs that call for a pause
- Deposits are repeated within the same day after a loss.
- The sum agreed in advance has been exceeded.
- Play continues after the planned end time.
- The wish to win back losses decides the next bet.
- Money meant for other costs is moved to the cashier.
If one of these applies, close the session, and contact our support team to arrange a break or self-exclusion.
Where to get free help
- National Gambling Helpline: 0808 8020 133, free and confidential.
- GamCare: support and information for people affected by gambling.
- BeGambleAware: independent guidance on gambling harm.
Family members and friends can use the same services. A person who speaks to the helpline is not required to close an account.
Speaking to someone close
A person who notices a change in a relative or friend can begin with a fact, not an accusation: the number of deposits, the hours spent, the money missing. The National Gambling Helpline also advises relatives. An agreement to review the plan together after a month gives both sides a fixed point.
Keeping control of money
| Habit | Why it helps |
|---|---|
| Deposit a fixed sum once a month | The budget cannot grow within the month |
| Keep gambling money in a separate account | Rent and bills are not touched |
| Never deposit borrowed money | A loss does not turn into a debt |
| Do not repeat a deposit after a loss | The next bet is not decided by the last result |
Checking the plan after a month
At the end of each month compare three figures: the sum deposited, the sum withdrawn and the hours played. If the deposited sum exceeded the plan, lower the monthly sum or take a break. If the hours exceeded the plan, shorten the sessions. The review takes minutes, and our support team can arrange a break whenever the review shows a problem.
Age limit
Our casino is for adults aged 18 and over. Devices used by minors should carry parental controls, and account details should not be shared. We close an account that belongs to a minor.
What we do when you ask
Our support team treats every request of this kind as a priority. We respond to a request for self-exclusion without argument, and we do not encourage a player to continue. Verification protects the account and the player, and it also confirms age. Live chat is open 24 hours a day for a request of this kind.
